This week, probably a D... I only got about 60 minutes of actual writing in, but it was productive and focused. I found a good nit-picky friend/ editor who has helped me get a new beginning. I didn't write for fun for the Sun, but I did decide my topic and hope to get that done this week. Sherri
I wrote a lot, but it was all related to the AP training that I attended. Definitely got in my time... but it's going to be a lot more focused on my own projects this week.
I echo Carey: I got my time in, but it didn't feel like it was "my" work. It was all hurdle-jumping kind of writing (IRB forms, consent documents). On the bright side, I did give Anna feedback on her piece. This week I want to get working on an English Journal article call that's due in September.
This was not a banner writing week for me. I was quite productive at the beginning of the week, but a trip to visit friends for an extra-long weekend sidetracked me... But it is a new week, and I have fresh motivation and plenty of time. I plan to work on my article from the retreat as well as a personal writing project. Yea! ~ Merritt
Despite the best of intentions last week was a disaster for actually getting something on paper. I did have some interesting conversations about characters that keep roaming around in my head. Today I started a new piece that is inspired by my New Mexico time. Not school related at all. Sheila gave me some really helpful feedback on my article so I may try that again this week - but I think it may need another week to steep.
The good news is that I already have in an hour today and that doesn't count blogging and email LOL.
Here's wishing everyone a productive and rewarding week! Anna
Hi, I was on vacation all week and only did journal writing. My goal this week is back to the 100 minutes. I've got some outside deadline dates and that always helps me. The clock is ticking and my computer is charged up!
